2nd Line Support / Helpdesk Engineer

Annual Salary - 20k- Permanent position

Intalect are seeking additional 2nd line Support / Helpdesk engineers to expand an existing team of engineers supporting customers networks.
The role includes supporting several Microsoft based networks located all around the country by means of remote connections. Supported applications include Windows 2000, 2003 & 2008 servers, Windows XP & Vista Desktop and Laptops, Microsoft office as well as Exchange servers, Firewalls and various comms related equipment. Administrative tasks will vary building and installing replacement servers, setting up ADSL Connections day to day administrative tasks such as checking backups, creating users etc through to trouble shooting problems to ensure the smooth running of customers IT networks and equipment.
You will be responsible for taking phone calls direct from customers, logging faults into our helpdesk system and following any issues through to conclusion. You must have a car as you will be required to occasionally attend site to install new equipment or rectify faults that cannot be dealt with remotely and ideally be located within a 30 min drive from Hinckley, Leicestershire.
Previous experience working on a helpdesk or in a very similar environment will be beneficial as would having any Microsoft qualifications.

Regional Sales Executive - Microsoft SMB Sales - Midlands based

OTE UNCAPPED - Permanent position

Intalect Ltd is a national company who deliver Microsoft based IT Solutions and Voice over IP telephony to a number of different industries and is currently looking to put together a new sales team managed by an existing Customer Service Manager to cover their East and West Midlands territories.

With a proven track record and an already varied customer base, Intalect have grown over the last 3 years through acquisitions and recommendations as well as building on existing customers. With a heavy emphasis on customer service and being accredited by Microsoft as a certified partner, Intalect are now concentrating on expanding the business further by looking for more acquisitions and creating their own sales team.

The successful candidate will be the first member of the sales team and as a result will have to create their own sales leads, develop the accounts and maximise any opportunities through the sale of software, hardware, support and other related services. The successful candidate will also need to be focussed, enthusiastic, dynamic, tenacious, comfortable talking with clients at all levels and have previous experience selling Microsoft SMB based solutions.

The successful candidate will be the main contact for clients within your area backed up by a team of engineers working on our existing helpdesk along with the Customer Service Manager and Sales Director.

Previous experience selling Microsoft SMB based solutions along with being comfortable creating your own sales leads via telesales campaigns is a must. You will be given Pre and Post Technical Support including attending meetings if required from the existing Customer Service Manager and Sales Director.

Other prerequisites include ambition, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the capacity to absorb new technical information and apply it to clients business needs.

Regional Sales Executive - Telephony Sales - Midlands based

Intalect Ltd is a national company who deliver Microsoft based IT Solutions and Voice over IP telephony to a number of different industries and is currently looking to put together a new sales team managed by an existing Customer Service Manager to cover their East and West Midlands territories.

Looking to build on past success Intalect is driving to expand the business further through acquisition and employing a new sales team. Part of this drive is to expand the current telephony side of the business by employing a sales executive to concentrate on promoting the Trixbox and Avaya systems they already supply and support.

As the only sales person for this side of the business the successful candidate will be responsible for creating their own sales leads, develop the accounts and maximise any opportunities through the sale of software, hardware, support and other related services. The successful candidate will also need to be focussed, enthusiastic, dynamic, tenacious, comfortable talking with clients at all levels and have previous experience working for a telephony company within a sales role.

You will be the main contact for clients within this department backed up by a team of engineers, the Customer Service Manager and Sales Director.

Previous experience selling Telephony systems is a must with previous Trixbox knowledge being an advantage and you must be comfortable creating your own sales leads. Full Pre and Post Technical Support from the existing Customer Service Manager and Sales Director will be provided.
